“We are looking for a solution to move 50kg packages on 10m high conveyors, can you help us?” This was the request of a large mail order company. After they told us that the conveyors, in their 33 mail sorting centers, had to be stopped several times a day because packages were getting stuck. An employee had to try to climb up and get the package back on the belt. In cooperation with this client, we developed the so-called “PackPicker. Which is currently used in all their German sorting centers.

This resulted in the largest order in Prince Fibre’s history. We supplied not only the profiles, but also the connectors and enclosures in which the “PackPicker” is secured. Upon request, we pultruded a membrane into the bottom tubes with a black and yellow safety line and even the customer’s name. The tread also features several aramid fibers and is certified by TÜV.
